ARCA/ARCA Foundation offers two types of Special Needs Pooled Trusts for individuals with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities and their families.

Established in 1999 and 2007 respectively, and Certified by the state of New Mexico Financial Institutions:

• ARCA’s Grantor Pooled Trust enables the Beneficiary, (the person with disabilities), to acquire and save funds above the $2,000 asset limit without affecting their eligibility for State and Federal assistance programs such as SSI, Medicaid and the DD Waiver.
• ARCA’s Donor Pooled Trust, established by family or some other person wishing to provide funds for the person with disabilities, allows the donor to do so without jeopardizing the Beneficiary’s eligibility for public assistance.

ARCA’s Pooled Trusts are designed to provide supplemental needs, promoting the happiness, comfort and development of the Beneficiary. Once funded, both trusts are irrevocable.
