Sara H. Individual Ambassador

For the past few years, Sara has been part of the ARCA NeuRoads program and ARCA’s janitorial program. She first learned about ARCA while searching for support services that would help her continue building independence and confidence in everyday life.

To Sara, ARCA means “opportunity, recovery, support, and safety.” She says ARCA has helped both her and her family by creating a supportive environment where she feels encouraged to grow and continue building confidence in herself.

One experience that stands out to Sara was participating in a craft sale, where she had the opportunity to showcase her creativity and connect with other people at ARCA.

Sara also appreciates the balance of support and independence she has found at ARCA. She remembers staff being understanding and respectful of her individual needs while continuing to encourage her growth and confidence.

Outside of ARCA, Sara enjoys crocheting, playing video games, reading, cooking, watching movies, and spending time in nature. She says rebuilding connections with her family and continuing to work toward her goals brings her the most joy.

Sara hopes ARCA continues helping individuals and families for many years to come. She says she will always be grateful for the support, encouragement, and opportunities ARCA has brought into her life.
