I Have a Family. . .

Family Living honors the choice of adults with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities and their immediate families by providing supports that enable them to live at home.

In Family Living, a surrogate or natural family provides 24-hour supports for an individual with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities. Many have extensive personal care and medical needs. Each family is carefully screened before services commence. A family home offers specialized but less structured supports in a natural environment. The families receive social work support, training and on-call coverage from the FBS team 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
