Eve R. Individual Ambassador

For more than 20 years, Eve has been part of the ARCA community. She first learned about ARCA through a high school teacher and says ARCA has helped her learn to live more independently while knowing support is available when she needs it.

Over the years, Eve has built strong friendships and enjoyed many experiences through ARCA, including outings, trips, community activities, and opportunities to grow in confidence and independence. She says one of the things that makes ARCA special is that “everyone knows me” and takes the time to understand who she is as a person.

Eve enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends, and says “just being me” is what brings her the most joy. She also enjoys watching movies, working with children, traveling, sports, and spending time out in the community. She especially loves cruises and hopes to continue traveling and exploring new places.

She takes pride in the independence she has built over the years and hopes to continue living independently for as long as possible. Looking back on her journey, Eve says one of the most important things ARCA taught her is to “keep on trying” and continue learning and growing through life’s experiences.
